Azerbaijani media reports that delegations of the Azerbaijani and German governments have held a negotiation in Baku on the policy of cooperation for the sake of development.
As reported, from the Azerbaijani side, the talks were led by the head of the Economic Development Ministry’s Administration, Samir Valiyev and from the German side by the deputy head of the Southeast, Eastern Europe and South Caucasus department of the Federal Economic Cooperation and Development Ministry, Jochen Bohmer.
During the talks, the sides discussed the future directions of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the German Development Bank (KfW) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the fields of water supply, environment, renewable energy, justice, small and medium business, education and public administration.
The document reflects the intention of the German government to allocate EUR 137m to certain projects to be implemented in subsequent years.
