“Prosperous Armenia” Party’s visit to Brussels objectively appeared in the spotlight of expert circles and the media, and the observations of this visit by various political parties are based on objective reality and social and political demands dictated by that reality. Finally, presidential elections are developing in the RPA-PAP domain, and in this aspect the steps of the both sides win the overall attention, writes reporter Mousa Mikaelyan in his political analyses.
“Among other reasons, “Prosperous Armenia” left for Brussels to be stamped as “opposition” and finally push out the ANC with the European stamp. PAP is well aware, of course, that the cooperation with the ANC is temporal, situational, and will end with the end of the presidential elections intrigue. PAP is preparing for the “life” after it, where it is provided with a strong opposition field.” says the article.
According to the reporter, in fact, “Prosperous Armenia” received that affirmation in Brussels in the face of EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle. The official release of their meeting actually says that the PAP was noted as the biggest opposition party.
“This means, Europe has confirmed the PAP in the opposition field and stamped as the largest opposition in Armenia, which means that “Prosperous Armenia” succeeded in pushing the ANC to the second plan not only in Moscow, not only in Armenia and Washington, but also in Brussels.”
Mousa Mikaelyan concludes with a statement that for Europe the PAP becomes the opposite pole of the government, by the actions of which are conditioned the process of European integration in Armenia.
