Director of regional studies center, Richard Kirakosyan, gave an interview to “168 zham” daily and talked about Armenia-Russia relations.
According to him, Eurasian union is more a response to the progress of the European Union but there will be no pressure on Armenia concerning the issue.
Kirakosyan stressed that Armenia will have a big obstacle after the presidential elections, when Russian president Vladimir Putin will visit our country.
“Russia treats Armenians very wrongly. They don’t trust us and don’t respect Armenia as a partner. The biggest mistake is Putin’s arrival after the elections, when he will come and punish Armenia by raising the gas prices. This is not the best way to strengthen Armenia-Russia relations” said Kirakosyan.
