The state budget was adopted in the NA today with 71 for, 0 withdrawn and 37 against votes. Before the voting PAP member Tigran Urikhanyan announced even though there were absentees from their political party, all of them are unanimously against the state budget adoption.
Hrant Bagratyan stated the budget plan with the structure it is today is not even keen to be discussed let alone being adopted, ANC is against the plan.
Independent MP Edmon Maruqyan stated his proposals are to be taken into consideration in the upcoming year so is for the budget plan.
ARF member Atsvik Minasyan asked Hovik Abrahayan whether the bill would pass with 66 votes or 50%+1. The latter was needed to pass the bill.
The Republican party decided use its old tradition and voted for the absent RP MPs too.
After the bill was passed, the deputy minister of Finance Suren Karayan made a report which was accepted with agitation and the MPs who were extremely dissatisfied with the results of the voting left the hall.
