Iran’s Custom Administration in a report on Saturday declared that the country’s foreign transactions in the first eight months of the current Iranian year exceeded 65 billion dollars, IRNA reported.
The transactions include 27.9 billion dollars worth of non-oil exports and 37.3 billion dollars worth of imported goods, said the report.
During the period, 51,806,000 tons of non-oil products were exported from and 27,179,000 tons of goods imported to the country, registering a 31 and 15 percent increase compared to the corresponding period last year respectively.
Export of non-oil goods excluding condensed gas in the said period hit 21.6 billion dollars, registering a 3-percent growth in terms of weight and 2-percent rise in terms of value, said the report.
