Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, manager of “Human Rights and Democratization” regional master’s program Arthur Ghazinian, referring to the organization of the European People’s Party (EPP) summit of leaders, said:
“The organization of the European People’s Party summit of leaders in Armenia is directly or indirectly related to the upcoming presidential elections and the selection of Armenia’s foreign policy priorities.
It is noteworthy that in order to participate in the summit arrived in Armenia leaders, who visit Armenia for the first time, and, in my opinion, their visit will have much more symbolic and historic character. The organization of this event, in my opinion, will have a positive impact on the society of Armenia, to get the right signals and utilize it.”
Recall that in the evening will be held the second Eastern Partnership Summit of the leaders of the European People’s Party, which will be attended by President Serzh Sargsyan, the President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili, Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat, EPP President Wilfried Martens and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
