Yeghiazar Ayntapci in his political analysis informs when Serzh Sargsyan was accepting the president of Turkmenistan Gurbangul Berdimuhamedov, Putin was having a telephone talk with Aliyev. At the same time the representative of the state Duma of the RF Nikolay Rijkov said Putin will most probably visit Armenia at the beginning of 2013. Today the European People’s Party president Martens, Georgian president Saakashvili and the PM of Moldova are in Yerevan to participate in the Eastern partnership summit.
Ayntapci says all this reminds of a political storm and Armenia is in the center of it and that Armenia has never been in such an active foreign policy turbulence on the eve of the presidential elections. The crosswise vector that can be seen in the foreign policy Armenia leads today states that it is hard to find multilayer resources to change the situation in the country. It is clear also that Armenia fails to send direct messages for partnership any of the sides which diverts the accomplishment of the partnership.
The whole instable foreign political stance in the country is also predetermined by the shallow intrastate political developments, if any at all. The political powers restrain from announcing their political decision up to the last moment hoping something might change by the end. This very condition states that there can hardly be any change in the future.
Ayntapci concludes, that from this perspective the current condition is favorable for the official Yerevan however it is very hard to estimate the condition of Armenia as favorable because this foreign activity in the country will bring to a temporary loss.
