Newsgeorgia.ru reports Robert Sutura – a Georgian well-known stage director who worked in Moscow Theatre “Et Cetera” has decided to get back to Tbilisi, Rustaveli Theatre. He wrote in his facebook, he has decided to return home where he has spent 50 years.
Sutura was resigned from his post in Tbilisi in 2011 by the Minister of Culture of Georgia Nikolos Ruru because of “showing xenophobic attitude”. However most part of the population though the reason for the resigning was Sutura’s criticism on Saakashvili. After the parliamentary elections in October Bidzina Ivanishvili came to power, the writer Guram Odisharia became the Minister of Culture and Sutura’s return became possible.
