Georgian media reports that imprisonment in the form of a preliminary measure of restraint has been chosen for former Deputy Interior Minister, acting Vice-Mayor of Tbilisi, Shota Khizanishvili.
As reported, he will stay in prison for two months till the trial begins.
Note, he was charged with abuse of office and illegally obtaining private information and may be sentenced from 2 to 5 years.
