Khosrov Harutyunyan, president of “Christian Democrats” political party, today, November 8, had a press conference and talked about Armenian current political life and Kocharyan-Sargsyan relations.
According to him, Robert Kocharyan (second president of Armenia) doesn’t try to make any troubles for Serzh Sargsyan (current Armenian President).
“Knowing the biography of both political figures I‘m sure that Kocharyan won`t do such steps behind Sargsyan. Moreover, I don’t think that Sargsyan refuses to cooperate with other political leaders, including Robert Kocharyan”, said Harutyunyan.
As reported, Harutyunyan during the conference commented on the announcement made by Naira Zohrabyan, PAP member.
Note, PAP wants to pass on the process of parliamentary government, where the power of the country mostly belongs to the parliament.
“Maybe Armenia will have such regime, but not now. In order to have such process the political parties must be very strong. Our current political parties are not strong, there are many conflicts within the parties, which means that such action can’t be done in Armenia, at least, at present time it is not possible ” said Harutyunyan adding “During these 20 years we have changed the government for several times but the issue is still in the country. We should find the problem within us.”
