On November 5, the Israeli Transport Minister Israel Kats has given permission to “Arkia” airline to conduct Tel Aviv-Yerevan direct flights, informs the Israeli Zman agency.
According to the Minister, “Arkia” airline was able to conduct Israel-Armenia flights due to the agreement signed in 1997 between Israel and Armenia.
According to the agreement, the two airlines can carry out flights between two countries, but until now flights were conducted by the Armenian company.
