Hovhan Mandakuni, reporter of “First News and Analyses” in his article on ANC-PAP relations writes,
“Member of Armenian National Congress party Hrant Bagratyan said that Levon Zurabyan’s statement about the cooperation of the ANC and the PAP is his personal opinion. Hrant Bagratyan is a little wrong, because a few days after his personal opinion the ANC leader’s spokesman Musinyan said Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s view on the PAP’s cooperation is the opinion of the Congress. And what is remarkable: After this announcement PAP MP Naira Zohrabyan and Elina Vardanyan participated in the trial of the Congress youth activists, naturally in the context of support. That is, the PAP responds to Congress, which actually made official his ideas on PAP’s cooperation. In other words, Hrant Bargatyan’s statements that they respond to his questions in Congress saying that the PAP’s co-operation is just a matter of tactics, and there is nothing serious underneath, it is not really so, there is something under it, and this thing is so serious that could be a big blow to the ANC’s already disturbed reputation.”
Mandakuni notes that the fact that PAP deputies went to the trial of the ANC’s youth activists, is welcoming. “The question simply is that the PAP supports ANC only in trade.
That is, if the ANC’s young activists found themselves in the status of small change, then in the broader meaning the ANC and the PAP put the public in the similar situation,” concludes Mandakuni.
