The reporter of “First News and Analyses” Yeghiazar Ayntapci wrote an article on the impact of ANC-PAP alliance on the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan.
“Purely theoretically, without taking into consideration practical realities of Armenia within the government and political circumstances, it is clear that the ANC-PAP alliance in political sense can be “fatal” for Serzh Sarkisian. Alliance has all the capabilities- from political fanaticism to capital-populism. And when that theory is built on the basis of any “political” theory or scheme, it seems absolutely perfect, or at least near to perfection.” writes the reporter.
But he also notes that not taking into account the practical reality is already a great disadvantage. “In the case of ANC-PAP alliance a number of offenses committed against the state are not consciously noticed: March 1, fraud, violence, illegal detentions, monopolies, misspend of national wealth, corruption, bribery, state property embezzlement, abuse of official position, gross violations of human rights and so forth. These are threads, which closely link “Prosperous Armenia” Party to the ruling system.”
“Moreover, these are not usual threads, but joint felony threads. Every power would just wish that his accomplices were his main rivals. It is a gift to any government that is formed and stored in the logic of the crime.” concludes Ayntapci.
