Artak Shaboyan told today that the state commission on the preservation of economic competition watches over the wheat and bread products’ market developments despite the price increase of 1.2-4.1% in the aforementioned products. The president of the commission ensures they run constant monitoring to balance the situation and that the price changes are because of the international market development.
When asked why the price change happens when there are no fluctuations on imported wheat price in the custom service, the president of the commission told to dwell on their observations and not on custom service data. Shaboyan assured the commission’s monitoring is going to be continuous in the future too.
