Georgian media recalls that U.S. Ambassador to Georgia, Richard Norland, had a meeting with Finance Minister of Georgia, Nodar Khaduri and after the meeting had a press conference where he announced that U.S. will support the financial stability of Georgia in its transition period.
He said that one of the major projects implemented by the United States in Georgia is the Millennium Program.
As reported, the sides discussed the program’s goals and the progress of projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
They also discussed the prospects of development of Georgian-U.S. relations.
