This view was expressed by the minister of finance Vache Gabrielyan about the skills of journalists. In the interview with “First Armenian News and Analysis” to the observation that the head his party Serzh Sargsyan has promised that the minimum wage will be doubled and each newly formed family will have a flat and car, the minister said that there are events that take place irrespective of any political figure’s statements.
Referring to the absence of pension increase in 2013 budget and constant inflation, Mr. Gabrielyan said that there is concern not only for pensioners, but also for all the other citizens adding that maximum efforts were taken in the borders of financial and economic opportunities.
Referring to the morality of increasing prices, but not pensions, the minister replied that it is not moral to ask questions knowing the answers adding that journalists are able to torn any minister.
The correspondent asked to comment on the talks that government must be dissolved. The minister answered that if any estimate isn’t satisfactory, it doesn’t mean that government must be dissolved. “The NA majority will support the budget and according to parliamentarism, the budget will be accepted despite oppositional votes.”
