The Forum Of Armenian Associations Of Europe (FAAE) presidency issued a statement, where it is noted that they assess the accusation put forward against RA former FM, member of Prosperous Armenia Vartan Oskanian as political persecution without any legal grounds and as a deliberate attempt to take the possible candidate out the game before the presidential elections.
The statement says that Vartan Oskanian has become an example of devotion to the nation. “There are many examples when members of Diaspora were made bankrupt and then were exiled from the country. Today a patriotic political leader faces the danger of the policy of being made morally bankrupt and then exiled from the country. As a result apathy increases and the emigration is accelerating with high speed instead of decreasing leading the country to final destruction.”
The statement stresses the country’s discrediting policy that any citizen is a criminal and creates a system where the development is absent in any sphere.
“We demand from RA administration to immediately stop the political persecution against Vartan Oskanian as well as other PAP minister having left the coalition a and get engaged in the discovery of privileged ARP officials, otherwise FAAE is ready to give mass support.”
