The representative of Berio Diocese in Aleppo, Jirayr Rayisyan had a conversation with the correspondent of 1in.am News and Angency. He talked about the “help your brother” initiative.
According to Rayisyan, young Syrian-Armenians volunteers are already done with distributing the humanitarian aid that was sent to Aleppo.
“We will try to help as many people as possible. We will support not only Syrian-Armenians but also people of other nations, especially those Arabs who live in Deir ez-Zor region. We can’t forget the support which they gave us when we were in terrible situation. In these days an Arab woman was coming across the place where the humanitarian aid was brought and our young people gave her an envelope. We must support each other until we get out of this situation” said Rayisyan.
We should recall that on October 15 the organization sent humanitarian aid to Alleppo in order to support Syrian-Armenians and the process will be continued till the end of the clashes in Syria.
