Armenian “Armavia” company starts additional flights to Syria. “Armenpress” was informed by the Airline News Service that Yerevan-Aleppo-Yerevan additional flights are scheduled to be implemented since August 1.
“Since the situation in Syria is getting worse, all European airline companies’—including global airline giants’—refuse to conduct flights to Syria, and certain NGOs’ manipulation of the public opinion, Armavia Airline Company officially states:
As Armenia’s national airline carrier, the Armavia Airline Company considers it indispensable to deny assistance to the citizens abroad, and it has an experience of cooperation with the Government of Armenia, in transporting the Armenians during the Lebanese conflict.”
