The criticism voiced during the meeting by the RA President Serzh Sargsyan in the Defense Ministry is still being discussed in the field of media. In particular, the discussion was the report about the process of the procurement for the needs of the Ministry of Defense. It was indicated that there are cases when the number of tender packages involve the same people in competitions. To the tenders announced by the Defense Ministry participate more than 100 organizations and in the framework of the competition 95% of supply was carried out and in line with the requirements of the law.
It is often discussed in the media whether the steps of the President are directed to the campaign, which has not started yet. In fact, we are witnessing the opposite, serious reforms appear in the field of defense.
Referring to the situation in the army, in particular, the problem of non-proliferation and its morals, it should be noted that taking into account the steps of the Defense Ministry, the responsibility falls to the base commands. There are periodical checks in the units. Therefore, servicemen should maintain their own legitimacy and discipline.
