Turkish Hurriyet daily informs that an explosion took place on the section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline in the Turkish province of Kars, which supplies gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey.
The reason of the explosion has not yet been established.
As reported, representatives of the Turkish Botas are involved at the scene.
Repairs can take from three to seven days, Botas said.
Note, last time the explosion hit this pipeline on May 29, 2012.
