Today, October 2 “First Armenian news and analyses” News Agency interviewed Jirayr Raisyan, the press secretary of Armenian Berio Diocese, located in Aleppo.
According to Raisyan, early in the morning 2 huge bombs were dropped right at the center of Aleppo, near city’s square, which is always full of people.
As reported, in the center of the city there are lots of shopping centers.
“Unfortunately the hope of Aleppo’s citizens, to live in a peace, once again was broken. The two bombs were very huge ones, since it shocked the city. I’m sure there were lots of damages, but till now, no information has been reported concerning the damages. I don’t exclude that there might be Syrian-Armenians among wounded or dead people. Only one thing is good for people that the government’s forces during these days have made a lot of progress and have had some victories over oppositional forces” said Rayisyan adding “After the mentioned two bombs, another 3 bombs hit the same place. So, as we see, the situation is still not good. I have information that an Armenian was wounded during the explosions but fortunately he is in good state. ”
