Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Garegin II, in Holly Ejmitdzin received the President of the Council for Christian Unity, Kurt Koch.
Welcoming the guest, His Holiness Garegin II highly appreciated the relations which exist between Armenian Apostolic and Catholic Churches.
During the meeting the sides talked about the cooperation and deep development between Armenian Apostolic and Catholic Churches.
According to His Holiness Garegin II, the visit is very important for Armenian nation, since the people will be very happy to see the cooperation between the churches.
President of the Council for Christian Unity, Kurt Koch, in his turn expressed gratitude for the invitation and said that he is very proud to be in a country, which was the first state to adopt Christianity.
After the meeting, Kurt Koch and Garegin II participated in Saint Liturgy, held in Holly Etchmiadzin.
