US ambassador in Azerbaijan Mattew Bryza said in an interview with Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty that the he sees a progress in negotiation process over Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Bryza noted that his experience of being involved in the negotiation process personally for a long time as well as the situation he sees now provide ground to claim that significant progress has been made.
“If we look back to the situation in 2004-2005, we will see that then negotiation process didn’t exist at all. The negotiations were just stopped. Since then a lot of constructive ideas have been suggested. Now the sides should work on the Madrid principles’ said Bryza.
According to Bryza the latest statement of the co-chairs that there is a progress in the negotiation also comes to prove that we are not in a deadlock’.
