The Armenian National Committee of America reported that Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-NJ) has requested that the U.S. enter into formal talks with Armenia regarding the negotiation of a Trade and Investment Framework Agreement. Representative Frelinghuysen wrote, in his letter to Ambassador Kirk, that “working toward a TIFA between the U.S. and Armenia would be an important step in securing long-term economic ties and furthering our trade relationship.”
He also emphasized the benefits that expanding trade will have for his New Jersey constituents and all Americans.
