We should recall that earlier, Alexander Dugin, Professor of Sociology Faculty of Moscow State University, had an interview with Turkish daily Hurriyet, concerning the EurAsEc issue.According to him, EurAsEc is very important and will cover all the negative factors which faced former USSR countries. In his statement he also noted that Turkey may join the union.
Khachatur Qoqobekyn, “Heratege” MP, quoted the above mentioned statement during the interview with our journalist.
“We have already said for many times that we don’t need to join EurAsEc, since they don’t have the ideas which we have. As for me it is geopolitical constitution. What concerns the issue of Turkey to join that union, I think it is absurd. As we know Turkey is a NATO member, and I’m sure that they won’t be involved in such geopolitical institution. That’s how I name it, as the creators of the union say the same. As I have already mentioned we don’t need to join, since there are a lot of issues which haven’t been solved, like between Russia and Ukraine, so on and so forth. “Heritage” party has always been against the project, and I once again stress our position and urge all the political parties to do the same. ”
