Hovhan Mandakuni in his recent analysis touched upon the issue of Kocharyan’s comeback into politics. “To the question of Armenian sources who could significantly hamper Serzh Sargsyan at the presidential elections, one cannot find more rational answer than “Robert Kocharyan”. There is no political party or politician in the present and foreseeable future, who can pose complex problems for Serzh Sargsyan. But if Kocharyan doesn’t manage to do it then the question of Serzh Sargsyan’s over-election is solved. Sargsyan probably could not even imagine a better prospect.”
In Mandakuni’s words “ What concerns inter-political conspiracy and intrigues within the government, the situation is complicated. Public opinion in Armenia is becoming more and more important.Sargsyan has no other choice than to enhance the impact of public opinion on the Armenian processes, because in almost anarchic situation it is a reliable means of defense against intersystem aspirations.”
So, if Serzh Sargsyan uses public for his prospects and interests, then why shouldn’t the public do the same thing with Sargsyan and try to take advantage of him.
