If RA authorities recognize NKR independence, there will be nothing left for negotiations. This viewpoint was expressed by political expert Manvel Sargsyan during meeting with journalists.
“Many have said that Karabakh status is not a subject for negotiations, but in this phase it has become a matter of discussions. The expert finds that the situation is the fault of political powers that don’t estimate the situation, don’t analyze whether or not to recognize NKR independence”.
Manvel Sargsyan finds it wrong that for the political elite, Safarov’s extradition is a provocation.
Referring to the NA announcements, Manvel Sargsyan said: “The position was unified. The whole parliament gave birth to a document which seems to be written in Turkmenistan.”
Sargsyan sees nothing extraordinary in Azerbaijani behavior: “Azerbaijan has always tried to make the world play with its rules. It is unlikely to renounce its politics now and hardly itwill treat theworld otherwise.” – stressed the expert.
Political expert Alexander Makarov mentioned that the cornerstone of Azerbaijani state policy is hatred. The glorification of a villain showed how sick Azerbaijani psychology is.
According to Makarov the visit of NATO Secretary General to Armenia first of all proves that NATO-Armenia cooperation goes on. Secondly it shows that NATO is concerned about Safarov’s affair. And this proves that NATO doesn’t see the new war as a solution for the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
