Vice President of Armenia’s National Assembly Eduard Shahmazanov, and MPs Hermine Naghdalyan, Karen Avagyan met with the head of Regional Konrad Adenuer Fondation Dzanan Atilgane and the manager of the Foundation project in Yerevan Liana Manukyan.
As indicates the press service of the NA, parties touched on the issue of Safarov’s case coinciding with the meeting expressing regret about the event and agony it spread around. The meeting covered the issue of Armenia’s Republic Party participation in the September 22 EPP-organized conference in Georgia. Representatives of the Republican Party indicated that they have always actively participated in regional and international programs, but the recent shocking events made a change in the regional situation and resulted in the lack of confidence and security. The party promised to discuss the issue and give an official response.
