On September 2, the delegation of the Republic of Armenia led by RA NA chairman Hovik Abrahamyan, participated in the celebration of the 21th anniversary of Nagorno-Karabakh’s independence in Stepanakert.
The members of the delegation were RA Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan, Vice-Chairman Eduard Sharmazanov, Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, deputies Galust Sahakyan, Rubik Hakobyan, Vardan Aivazian, Artak Zakarian, Koryun Nahapetyan, Elinar Vardanian, Margaret Yesayan, Naira Karapetyan, Artur Gevorgyan, Michael Melkumyan, Vahan Hovhannisyan, Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan, Gegharkunik governor Rafik Grigoryan, Syunik governor Surik Khachatrsyan and other officials.
In the morning, the RA delegation with the highest political and military leadership of NKR walked from the Renaissance Square of the capital of Artsakh to the Memorial complex of Stepanakert and laid flowers at the memorial and graves of soldiers, who died for freedom and independence of Artsakh.
RA delegation took part in the organized celebration and visited Shushi. The members of the delegation laid flowers at the memorial near the outskirts of the city and paid memory tribute of heroic soldiers, they laid flowers at the monument of Vazgen Sargsyan, visited Cathedral of St. Ghazanchetsots in Shushi.
In the brief conversation with reporters NA chairman once again congratulated Artsakh people and all the Armenians.
The NA Public and Media Relations Department informed “First News and Analyses” that the RA delegation will return Yerevan in the evening.
