Syria’s security forces blocked roads leading to Damascus, to stop the enemies of the president Bashar al-Assad army from entering the city.
According to the Syrian opposition, the clashes between the opposition and the governemet army are still continuing in the economic capital of Syria, Aleppo.
They inform about the attacks on the Ministry of Defense building, as well as the militants attack on the headquarters of the BBC news agency.
Brutal shootings have started, and as a result, there are dozens dead and injured.
One of the members of the Syrian opposition forces had an interview with Reuters.
As reported, he announced that their actions in Aleppo are for “gaining time”.
“If we continue our actions, to maintain our positions and attack, then Assad’s regime will continue to suffer losses, and we will be able to have time for rearming and replenishing”, he said.
According to him, he has a group of 1300 fighters in Aleppo, and another 500 fighters in the neighboring regions.
Meanwhile, Reuters, citing Syrian Al Khabar media, announces, that the Free Syrian Army has bombed the Armenian Suleymaniye district.
As reported, the aim of bombing was Al Ram church, situated in the district.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
