Trend reports that Chemical product transportation through SOCAR’s Kulevi, Georgia, oil terminal may begin in September and adds that the draft of the new complex was prepared by “Neftgazelmitedgigatlayihe” institute.
As reported the complex includes compressors, transformers, a nitric station and a pier to supply polypropylene. The production at the terminal will be loaded directly from railway tankers into gas carriers.
Note, Kulevi terminal was put into operation in summer 2008. Its total capacity is 10 million tons of oil per year, including 3 million tons of oil, 3 million tons of diesel fuel, and 4 million tons of fuel oil.
The source informs that the transportation of the chemical products though the terminal will be done for the first time.
