The court of first instance of Kentron and Norq-Marash districts refused Saqunc suit against RA MP, the president of Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan to apologize and compensate 1 cent from. Arthur Saqunc said to “1in.am News and Analysis” that he will appeal the verdict in Court of Appeals.
We remind that the cause of Arthur Saqunc suit was the “Additional Time” TV program screened on May 25th, 2012 on Armenian public TV, where the guest of the program, the president of Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan used these phrases: “When I want to found a football school in place where there are no trees, or bushes, a lousy appeared from nowhere with strange earrings and started a trial against us, city hall and council. They get the so-called grants and discredit everything.”
We note that Ruben Hayrapetyan’s advocate Lusine Bekumyan have presented written demand to refuse the suit completely as by saying “lousy one with strange earrings” Hayrapetyan didn’t mean Saqunc, as the latter doesn’t wear earrings.
