“Akhpar -Ti.Es.” reported that on Saturday the leaders of Syrian Christian communities issued a joint statement in Aleppo, by which they refuse “any kind of migration, which some sides calls for,” and criticize “to impend the language.”
The announcement also read that “the only acceptable way is the dialogues.”
Syria’s Christian community representatives are united in the Astor’s church, where they noticed that “Christians should stay in their native land.”
Azdag Daily reports that Syria’s Christians have criticized “any extremes against religious buildings” and have urged all the parties to start negotiating.
The clerics also denied the announcement spread in the internet a day ago which was about “Aleppo’s Christian and Muslim societies to be united,” as if the Christians are calling the members of their community to stand by “the free army” and to criticize “the destructions of Assad’s forces.”
Syria’s Christians in the same announcement have welcomed the visit of Pop in Lebanon in September.
