The Russian Federal Drug Control Service in cooperation with the relevant bodies of Azerbaijan seized about a ton of Afghan hashish, which was intended for distribution in Russia, Federal Drug Control Service chief Viktor Ivanov said in Baku today, reports Trend Correspondent E. Tariverdiyeva.
Ivanov stated that during the visit issues of combating the global threat of drugs, drug prevention and possibilities for developing mechanisms for joint activities to combat drug trafficking were discussed.
