Damien Rajot, Director of Commercial Operations of the Paris Games Organizing Committee, said the 2024 Olympics have become the most visited competition in history. More than 9.5 million tickets have been sold.
“This is a record for attendance at the Olympic Games. The previous figure for the most sold tickets belonged to the Games in Atlanta (a city in the USA, the capital of the 1996 Summer Olympics), which 8.3 million people attended.
We are also at the peak of ticket sales for the Paralympics. Twenty thousand tickets are sold daily, growing,” RMC Sport quoted Damien Raja.
Olympiad-2024 will be held from July 26 to August 11, and the Paralympic Games will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
