Guillaume Kasbaryan, an Armenian by nationality, was appointed Minister of Housing Construction in France. Kasbaryan was appointed to that position yesterday evening, having previously held the position of deputy minister.
Kasbaryan is 36 years old and was born in Marseille. The Armenian politician is a member of Emmanuel Macron’s ruling “Renaissance” party and represented the Ayr and Loire regions in the National Assembly of France.
He was the chairman of the Economic Affairs Committee of the National Assembly.
