On November 17, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan received OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Pia Kauma. Welcoming the OSCE PA President, Vahe Gevorgyan, noted with satisfaction that it is the first time in history that Armenia has the honor of hosting one of the OSCE PA sessions.
The interlocutors exchanged ideas on the conflicts in the South Caucasus and the OSCE region and their challenges. In this context, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Vahe Gevorgyan presented the ethnic cleansing policy implemented by Azerbaijan against the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and the approaches of the Armenian side to peace and regional interdependence.
The Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the role of parliamentary diplomacy and its contribution to addressing regional security challenges.
