The USA does not intend to cancel any sanctions against Iran. This was announced by a high-ranking representative of the American administration during a special briefing on the exchange of prisoners in the “5-5” format between Washington and Tehran.
Iran’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations has announced that Tehran and Washington have agreed to exchange prisoners in that format. Within the deal’s framework, Iran will have access to $6 billion frozen in South Korea.
