On September 16-17, talks between US President National Security Assistant Jake Sullivan and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and their delegations lasted 12 hours in Malta. A high-ranking representative of the Washington administration announced this in a special telephone briefing dedicated to the meeting.
“We spent about 12 hours together in two days,” he emphasized, adding that we are talking about a series of meetings.
