Edmon Marukyan announced that Davit Khazhakyan was not elected as a member of the Yerevan Council of Elders and congratulated the political forces elected by the people as members of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
“Dear citizens of Yerevan,
At the moment, according to the votes of all precincts of the city of Yerevan, Davit Khazhakyan, candidate of technical sciences, member of the Yerevan Council of Elders, and leader of the list of the LAP Council of Elders, Davit Khazhakyan was not elected to the future composition of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
In the past years, Davit Khazhakyan has adequately, honestly, and conscientiously represented the interests of the residents of the city of Yerevan without any remuneration in the Council of Elders of Yerevan and the Congress of Local and Territorial Authorities of the Council of Europe.
Davit Khazhakyan can no longer represent the interests of the residents of Yerevan in the Council of Elders because he was not elected in this election. Davit Khazhakyan lost the opportunity to serve you, and you lost the chance to be represented by a member of the council of elders like Davit Khazhakyan.
We sincerely thank the LAP team and every citizen who voted for Davit Khazhakyan. We will tremble at your every vote and your trust and continue to work and fight for the sake of a sovereign, democratic, and modern Republic of Armenia.
At the same time, we congratulate the political forces elected by the people as members of the Yerevan Council of Elders and wish them success in managing the city of Yerevan.
