The Minister of High-tech Industry, Robert Khachatryan, announced that Armenia is fully equipped with the necessary equipment to manage the Armenian satellite from the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
According to him, it is necessary to have a control center and a receiving station in 2023 to implement the management, “We want to hold an official opening ceremony when the control center and the receiving station are complete. The news that the control center is fully equipped is not widely circulated. We expect to receive the receiving station in the coming months as well. Everything is ready; it is with our partners, and the paperwork is being done to transport the cargo. After that, it will be fully furnished,” he said.
According to the minister, at the moment, personnel training is being carried out to manage the satellite entirely from Armenia.
