The lives and health of 190 million children in 10 African countries are at risk due to the lack of clean water. This was announced yesterday at the UN conference on water issues. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reports that it will be held in New York on March 22-24.
The foundation’s experts speak of a triple crisis: insufficient water supply, diseases accompanying sanitation and hygiene problems, and the exacerbation of natural disasters associated with climate change.
