US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a telephone conversation with Ilham Aliyev. The telephone conversation took place at the initiative of the American side.
During the conversation, Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is “fully committed to the peace agenda, is ready to regulate relations with Armenia and sign a peace treaty shortly, and presented the text of the peace treaty with the latest proposals and amendments to the Armenian side.”.
Aliyev added that he highly appreciates the efforts of the US and Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in this direction. Blinken reaffirmed the commitment of the US to the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia and the signing of a peace treaty.
