The spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, referred to the recently adopted party law in Azerbaijan.
“The United States is worried about Azerbaijan’s recently adopted law on political parties. We call on the authorities to include the recommendations of the Venice Commission and the OSCE ODIHR and to respect fundamental freedoms, including the right to assembly,” Price wrote on his Twitter microblog.
