Two and a half tons of uranium disappeared in Libya.
According to Raphael Grossi, executive director of the IAEA, the loss of ten containers with the so-called “yellow cake” was confirmed yesterday during an inspection in Libya, but the exact location was not specified. The IAEA intends to conduct additional checks to “find out the circumstances of the missing nuclear material and its current location.”
