Paruyr Hayrikyan told the First Armenian News and Analyses that he will be supporting only Paruyr Hayrikyan including his plans in case there were a second level of elections.
Hayrikyan stated he will continue the development of the country towards the Constitutional steps and that he already has the highest of all possible posts – leading the national struggle and self-determination.
Hayrikyan said in 1998 elections when the second level was for Demirchyan and Kocharyan, he did the same as he will do this time, support only himself and added he was the only politicianl who made Kocharyan who had no idea of constitution adopt the changes he proposed.
Hayrikyan concluded he was proposed the post of the PM and the head of the NA but he refused because these are temporary posts and summed up that some people do not have an idea in case they did not initiate the constitutional changes, we would not have today a constitutional court, National Assembly or a right to dual citizenship.
