Today in the meeting with the journalists the Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan told the diaspora is getting more Armenia-focused and that the country is becoming more attractive to the diaspora Armenians.
As the minister mentioned a number of new programs have been elaborated with the diaspora representatives the main aim of which is to assist Armenia.
The minister distinguished the opening of the pan-Armenian schools and programs aimed at raising the awareness about Armenia.
Recently the diaspora representatives met Serzh Sargsyan to discuss further prospects of initializing business and being provided with a disposing business environment. A number of Syrian Armenians are already engaged in Shirak, Lori as doctors and whose activities are quite highly praised by the local population. Hakobyan concluded although there are Syrian Armenian families still in need of an apartment, about 100 of them were granted with flats by Armenian people in living Armenia.
