Aravot writes that PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan, while being in Brussels made a statement according to which he condemned RA government saying that it is impossible to fight against corruption when it comes from Government.
Aravot asked different political figures to comment whether the statement is against Armenian President Serj Sargsyan or his target is someone else.
Stepan Safaryan, member of “Heritage” political party said that if Tsarukyan mentioned about corruption than his target is PM, since Tigran Sargsyan was the one who was actively talking about corruption in Armenia.
President of “Fatherland and Honor” political party Garnik Margaryan in his turn stressed that as he has already mentioned many times, Gagik Tsarukyan himself is an oligarch and the money which he donates to Armenia is coming from “dirty jobs”.
“I can say once again that Tsarukyan is among the ones who monopolized our country along with Kocharyan, Sargsyan and many others. As you know in Russia and Europe there is an active process against corruption and while Tsarukyan was in Moscow he understood it and now he makes such announcements to “wash his hands”. We should forget that Tsarukyan was and I’m sure that currently is a part of a coalition” said Margaryan.
