Today during the NA session, the deputy president of the state income committee Armen Alaverdyan reported the tax system of the RA will exceed that of Georgia in 4 years. In 2013 the “plan for the modernization of the tax administration” will be implemented for the sake of the automatization of the state income committee processes. For this purpose Armenia has took $12 million from the World Bank. According to Alaverdyan the program consists of 4 parts the main part being the IT development. This implies making the reports of the state income committee digital which will let 12.000 people present their reports electronically.
Alaverdyan concluded this will help them have a better and civilized way of dealing with people and minimize the subjective attitude towards the job done.
